Heat-inducible GAL4-LBD lines designed to readout nuclear receptor ligand activity are listed below. These "ligand sensor" lines are described in Palanker et al., 2006 and consist of the GAL4 DNA-binding domain fused to the ligand binding domain (LBD) of the indicated gene. The hsp70 promoter was used to provide temporal control, reducing potential lethality that might be caused by constitutive expression of the GAL4-LBD fusion proteins.
