Genes with transgene insertions

Insertions located within the transcription unit of a gene are listed below. Be aware that not all insertions in genes disrupt gene function. Be sure to read the FlyBase report and associated references to learn what is known about a specific insertion before using.

For most insertions mapped to the sequence, the cytology is estimated using the FlyBase Cytological<==>Sequence map conversion table. Please read this caution about insertion phenotype data.

Insertions are automatically assigned allele-type symbols if they are inserted anywhere within the transcription unit of the gene. For a listing of the insertions below by allele symbol see gene alleles associated with insertions.
